Show desktop icon on the Quick Launch

Adding item in quick launch is very easy. Just need to drag the item to quick launch. But some time we delete the desktop icon from the quick launch. Which causes problem to toggle desktop and current open window. If you facing same problem don’t worry.. it’s a little task..

Steps are as follows:

1. Open a notepad file and past the following code then save the as “show_desktop.scf”. Filename doesn’t matter just keep the extension as scf.

Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop

2. Click and then drag the show_desktop icon to your Quick Launch toolbar.

That’s it

*** BTW you can always go to desktop from any open window by pressing the Windows logo key+D on your keyboard

Seven Weird Things

I have found “the  seven unknown things internet meme has been circulating in the web for a while ” at emran’s blog. Though I’ve never been tagged before in any sort of blog meme thing, but i can’t stop myself to explore my seven things.  But before finishing this post i have found that me also have been tagged by masud. Thanks to  masud…. here goes the Seven random, weird things about me:

1. My first code is on flash actionscript. I learned it from a help corner of prothom-alo newspaper at 2001.

2. My aim was to be a computer engineer but i’m now an Electrical & Electronic Engineer.

3. I started learning php in early 2006. At that time internet connection was not available for me. So i search php code from my friend’s mobile browser(gprs) and then copy the code from mobile to pc. It was painful but me and my friend did it for whole night

4. I wrote my first commercial code in 2007, sold for $3000. but  i got $2000 for taking 5 extra days. – it was a 3 flash application for online photo fixing like blingee, bannermaker and logo design

5. i am a great fan of any type of video games

6. i’m also fan of cricket. My favorite cricketers are Brian Lara, Sachin Tendulker,  Wasim Akram and alll bangladeshi players.

7. I love my family very much but still not become a good family member

cricket bowling at its best….

Are you a fan of cricket? I know most of the programmers don’t get enough time to watch cricket. But I’m a real fan of cricket. I like to pass time on watching cricket. Today I have found a video at you tube which is all about bowled out . That’s a great collection. hope all of you also enjoy the great dismissals in cricket……
